This method is authorized by the Tuscany Region (DGRT 61/2021) and does not require confirmation with a Molecular Swab if the test is positive.
The result is guaranteed within the day.

PREPARATION FOR THE EXAM
In the two hours preceding the test the patient must not have eaten anything, smoked, drunk liquids other than water, brushed their teeth or used mouthwashes or similar.
REPORTING TIMES
In the event of a positive or negative outcome, response times are 6 hours, from the arrival of the sample in the laboratory.
COLLECTION OF REPORTS
A text message will notify you when the report is ready.
You can download the report via the email sent to the address you gave us at the reception desk or go and collect it at one of our testing centres.
ABOUT THE RAPID ANTIGEN TEST
The antigen test detects a Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 protein in nasopharyngeal swabs, such as the Nucleocapsid (N) protein.
